- Applicant must have a valid Louisiana Cosmetology License
- 20 Hours per week → 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm
- *approximately 8 months to complete the program (600 clock hours)

- Submit your Pre-Enrollment Application Form ($25 FEE) . This form can be obtained by clicking the download below or by clicking the APPLY NOW button on the Home Page or by visiting the academy. You can pay this fee online by clicking the Apply Now button on the home screen. Fill it out, email it to admin@louisianabarberacademy.com or come to the academy to drop it off.
The following document needs to be turned in with your completed Pre-Enrollment Application:
- Copy of valid Louisiana Cosmetology License
- Copy of Birth Certificate & Social Security Card
- High school diploma AND transcript or a passing grad on equivalence test (GED/HISET)
Step #2—- Pre Enrollment Interview/Inquiry/Information Session
- Once your Pre-Enrollment Application Form is turned in, you will be contacted within 1 to 3 business days for a pre-enrollment interview and information session with the owner, Jason Walker. At this session, you will be able to ask questions, and Mr. Jason will share with you information about the program, expectations, the cost of the program, and payment options.
Step #3— Enrollment Finalization Session
- Upon acceptance, you will be notified by email, text, phone call or in person, of your Enrollment Finalization date/time. On this day, you will make your initial payment and sign enrollment documents.
- **Additional Fees Required→ $90 State Board Registration Fee-paid upon entering the program & a $50 State Board Exam Fee paid upon completion of the program.
- You can begin the Monday after your enrollment session, and you are considered officially registered once fees are paid and all required admission documents have been submitted.
