*11 monthly payments of $728 due on the 1st or 15th each month

**Additional Fees Required→ $90 money order for State Board Registration & a $50 Money Order upon completion of the program. These fees are paid directly to the LA State Board of Barber Examiners, or you can pay the fees directly to Louisiana Barber Academy (LBA), and we will send the fee for you.
NOTE-For both the full time and part time payment plan, the down payment is non refundable after the student has attended the first day of class. If the student decides to cancel his/her agreement before or on the first day of attendance, the student will be refunded the total down payment received, less a $150 cancellation and the initial $25 pre-enrollment application fee.

Louisiana Barber Academy currently cannot accept federal or state financial aid. We will be working toward accreditation. Schools must be in operation for several years and complete the accreditation process before becoming eligible to offer federal financial aid programs. Once accreditation is achieved, the school will pursue approval to participate in federal student aid programs. However, we do have an INTEREST FREE monthly payment plan along with a down payment.
Barber/Stylist Program=1500 Clock Hours
--Full-time- 32.5 hours per week → Monday to Friday–8:30 am to 4:00 pm (lunch 12:30 to 1:30)
*approximately 12 months to complete the program
--Part-time- 20 hours per week → Monday to Friday-2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm
*approximately 18.5 months to complete the program
Cosmetology Crossover Program=600 Clock Hours
20 Hours per week →8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm
*approximately 8 months to complete the program
Barber Instructor Program=500 Clock Hours
20 Hours per week → 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm

No, Louisiana Barber Academy does not offer online courses as we believe in providing hands-on training and in-person learning experiences to our students.

The following documents need to be turned in with your completed Pre-Enrollment Application:
*****In the event of a foreign high-school diploma, the prospective student must provide an equivalency evaluation performed by an outside agency that is qualified to translate documents into English and confirm the academic equivalence to a U.S. high school diploma prior to enrollment.

At this session, you will be able to ask questions, and Mr. Jason will share with you information about the program, expectations, the cost of the program, and payment options.
Step #3— Enrollment Finalization Session
Upon acceptance, you will be notified by email, text, phone call or in person, of your Enrollment Finalization Session date/time. On this day, you will finalize your enrollment and take care of the payment due.
