Louisiana Barber Academy currently cannot accept accept federal or state financial aid. We will be working toward accreditation. Schools must be in operation for a couple of years and complete the accreditation process before becoming eligible to offer federal financial aid programs. Once accreditation is achieved, the school will pursue approval to participate in federal student aid programs. However, we do have an INTEREST FREE monthly payment plan along with a down payment.
Barber/Stylist Program=1500 Clock Hours
--Full-time- 32.5 hours per week → Monday to Friday–8:30 am to 4:00 pm (lunch 12:30 to 1:30)
*approximately 12 months to complete the program
--Part-time- 20 hours per week → Monday to Friday-- 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm
*approximately 18.5 months to complete the program
Cosmetology Crossover Program=600 Clock Hours
20 Hours per week →Monday to Friday-- 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm
*approximately 8 months to complete the program
Barber Instructor Program=500 Clock Hours
20 Hours per week → Monday to Friday-- 8:30 am to 12:30 pm OR 2 pm to 6 pm OR 5pm to 9pm

No, Louisiana Barber Academy does not offer online courses as we believe in providing hands-on training and in-person learning experiences to our students.
